Chris Beaty is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Chicago, Illinois. He received his BFA from Southeast Missouri State University (2016), and received an MFA in Painting, Sculpture & New Media from University of Illinois (2020). Beaty is currently Adjunct Faculty at North Central College (Naperville, IL), Saint Xavier University (Chicago, IL), and University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL), where he teaches courses in Painting, Drawing, 2D Design, Art Appreciation and Visual Communications.

Beaty’s work has been exhibited nationally, including exhibitions at the Krannert Museum (Champaign, IL), Zhou B. Art Center (Chicago, IL), Fosdick-Nelson Gallery (Alfred, NY),  Attleboro Art Museum (Attleboro, MA) and the Crisp Museum (Cape Girardeau, MO). He was the inaugural artist-in-residence at the Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center, and his works are included in numerous private collections.
